Course Description

This course is intended to introduce students to writing as an art while nurturing character development through subtle stories that highlight characteristics such as integrity, perseverance and courage.

What You’ll Learn?
  • Strong character development via an anthology of short stories, poetry & Shakesperean drama. Featuring Charles Dickens, Charlotte Brontë, Helen Keller, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Mark Twain, Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allan Poe amongst many others.
  • Writing Skills – Structure and Style
  • Grammar Skills – Readability
  • Literary Terms – Add Flair to writing
  • Vocabulary – students learn to become articulate communicators
